Romans 12:14, " Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse." We may be feeling sad that someone from our family has lost their jobs; we may be in a struggle that our finances are on edge; we may also be upset that the government increased the carbon tax at this time; we may be feeling angry that some people are trying to benefit through this pandemic; we may be angry seeing the wickedness manifesting, but God says, Remember Love.
Many of those that don't know God are feeling the same way. This is the time those who don't know God are opening their hearts to seek. Remember that many of us are saved not because we lost a debate, but because we saw the Love of God, so Remember Love.
I have my share of anger over the wickedness and disagreement with the governmental policies. God reminds me to Remember Love. Love the souls of the people, knowing that many of them are lost without hope if they don't turn to Jesus. It is God's will that no one should perish, but all have everlasting life. I have to ask God to help me to put my focus on their lost souls, so that I can pray for them genuinely. I don't want to just utter words in prayer without actually meaning those words. Romans 12:9, " Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good." Remember to love, but also stand in the truth.
If we can rest in God and trust Him that He will protect and provide for us, then we will have a confidence that can be recognized by those that are seeking. Then our word of Love, our action of Love carries the confidence in God, which will give them Hope.
So, Remember Love.
